Series
PLEASANTON, Calif. (April 09, 2002) Panoptx®, creator
of the ultimate Windless Eyewear, is seeing stars as it debuts on "Six
Feet Under," the critically acclaimed, dark comic drama series
airing Sunday nights on HBO®.
Panoptx will be featured in episode nine of "Six
Feet Under," titled "Someone Else's Eyes" airing on April
28, 2002. The leading character, Nate Fisher, inherits a motorcycle
and begins to experience the "biker lifestyle" by sporting
a helmet and Panoptx Windless Eyewear throughout the show. "Six
Feet Under" purposely chose Panoptx Windless Eyewear to protect
Peter Krause's (Nate Fisher) eyes from wind, dust and debris during
scenes of him riding the motorcycle. The Panoptx black Cyclone model
with Shooter Yellow lens will be featured.
"We are extremely excited to be included in 'Six
Feet Under,'" says Joel Olney, Panoptx senior vice president. "The
first season of the show was a runaway success and the scenes in which
Panoptx are featured really demonstrate the personality and function
of the product."
"Six Feet Under" stars Peter Krause (Nate
Fisher), Michael C. Hall (David Fisher), Frances Conroy (Ruth Fisher)
and Lauren Ambrose (Claire Fisher) as an entertainingly dysfunctional
family running a funeral home in Los Angeles. The program is the winner
of two 2001 Golden Globe awards and has received Screen Actors Guild
(SAG) and American Film Institute (AFI) award nominations.
